Re-starting, and 3-D printing adventures

After a long hiatus, I am starting up this blog again. There are a lot of exciting happenings, mostly focused around 3-D printing. I'm getting convinced that 3-D printing will enable a lot of things in distance education. Mailing kits around is pretty miserable, but if you send someone to a library of things and tell them to print one out and start playing with it, well, that's different. I'm working with my colleagues at National University Community Research Institute to come up with some professional development classes to teach 3-D printing and applications. When they are approved, they will appear here. More soon!
